No-Bake Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake

No-Bake Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake is a very tasty dessert, especially for chocolate lovers. This dessert is very rich and chocolaty. You can never stop at one bite. When I took the first bite I just fell in love with it. 

I have used gelatine in this mousse. Vegetarians can use agar-agar instead. You can even make this No-Bake Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake without gelatine. I will share that recipe soon.

I made this No-Bake Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake in the afternoon and had it in the night after dinner. But it had still not set completely. it tasted great the next day. So I suggest refrigerating for at least 10 to 12 hours.

I have used non-diary whipping cream because I don’t have access to dairy whipping cream in my city. If u have diary whipping cream then you can use that. also while whipping the cream do use a chilled bowl and chilled beater hooks. when I prepared this the weather was cool so I didn’t use ice bath while whipping the cream. if the climate is hot then you can use an ice bath.

Ingredients
For Crust
  • Oreo cookies 200 gms
  • Melted butter 4 tbsp
Dark Chocolate Mousse
  • Dark compound roughly chopped 150 gms
  • Whipping cream ½ cup
  • Whipping cream ⅔ cup
  • Gelatin 1 tsp
  • Cold water 4 tsp
Milk Chocolate Mousse
  • Milk chocolate roughly chopped 150 gms
  • Whipping cream ½ cup
  • Whipping cream ⅔ cup
  • Gelatin powder 1 tsp
  • Cold water 4 tsp
White Chocolate Mousse
  • White chocolate roughly chopped 150 gms
  • Whipping cream ½ cup
  • Whipping cream ⅔ cup
  • Gelatin powder 1 tsp
  • Cold water 4 tsp
  • Cocoa powder for decorating
Instructions
  1. To prepare the crust
  2. In a blender take Oreo cookies. Grind it to a fine powder.
  3. Add in melted butter and blend again. It should be like wet sand.
  4. Transfer this to a springform tin. and press it with your palm.
  5. Refrigerate it for 20 mins.
For dark chocolate mousse
  1. In a small bowl take gelatin. Add in cold water and let it swell for 5 to 10 mins.
  2. In a heat-proof bowl take grated dark chocolate and ½ cup whipping cream and melt it in a microwave or over a pot simmering water. once the chocolate is melted take it off.
  3. Melt the gelatin on low heat till it is completely melted.
  4. Add it to the chocolate mixture and mix nicely. Let it cool down to room temperature.
  5. Take a chilled whipping cream in a bowl and beat till stiff peaks.
  6. Add the melted chocolate mixture and beat again.
  7. Pour the mousse mixture over the prepared crust and refrigerate for 30 mins.
  8. Repeat the same process to prepare milk chocolate mousse and white chocolate mousse.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for 10 to 12 hours.
  10. Dust it with cocoa powder.
  11. Run a knife around the sides to release it from the tin.
  12. Slice it and serve
Notes
While whipping the cream start beating at low speed and gradually increase the speed.
